I have managed to get a Q&A with Kelly Starr to ask her a few things about Nintendo and there great new console.
----------------------------------------------------------
Johnny: What's your fav Nintendo Console?
Kelly Starr : Well the Gamecube is not out yet, but it is definitely my favorite. I love the potential the GBA connectivity has. My next fave would be the GBA, I play mine to death.
Johnny : What's your fav GC launch game?
Kelly Starr : Hmmm, I think maybe Sonic Adventure 2. Probably a strange one to choose, but I was a big Sonic fan from way back and this new one is awesome.
Johnny : What Games will you be buying with you GC?
Kelly Starr : I'll be getting Sonic and Bloody Roar at launch, and then waiting for Eternal Darkness, Soul Caliber 2 and Rune to come out, which I am dying to get my hands on.
Johnny : What do you think of the Xbox?
Kelly Starr : It's ok. Sure it's mega powerful, but I haven't really seen anything spectacular on the system yet. Dead Or Alive 3 is one that stand out as looking really awesome, but the rest just look like PS2 games so far. However I think that in the future we will see some great looking games on it, like if you compare the early psx games to the latest ones you can see that they got a lot better. However I'm not really interested in the X-Box at the moment.
Johnny : Are you going to E3? And what do you think Nintendo has up there selves?
Kelly Starr: Hehe, I'm not sure if I am going or not yet, though I hope I will be able to. I think Nintendo will surprise us with more Mario and Zelda footage, and maybe even a playable demo? I'm also keen to hear the latest on the Pokemon games and the E-card Reader. I'm sure they also have a few things to release that we can't even guess, like they sprung the new Zelda and Mario footage on us at Spaceworld.
Johnny : Will the Broadband adaptor ever be released In Australia, Unlike DC's one?
Kelly Starr : Well supposedly, but you never can tell really. The DC had an in built modem, but without a network set up, it was no good to us over here. Hopefully the Nintendo broadband adapter will have the support of a proper network and will be accessible to everyone, which is what they are aiming for. I can't tell you if it will work out, but I hope it does and think that it probably will.
