Story
There isnt really a story to this game, but does it really matter? The main Idea of the game is to unlock things. You get modes such as Adventure and classic with adventure being old school Mario type just side scrolling though levels and classic being the original fighting mode of the game.
Graphics
Well the Graphics on the game are pretty good but not some of the best that the Gamecube can provide. Maybe its because of the Camera angle given or that its just focused on to many things at once, But never the less the games graphics are reasonably good.
Controls
Well the controls is one of the lows for the game. I guess the Gamecubes controller doesnt really suit the game. I think more then half the people that own SSB:M would prefer to use the old Nintendo 64 controller for SSB:M then the Gamecube controller. The main reason for the bad controlling would have to be they way the buttons are placed, For me they just didnt work having X as jump. But others may think this is ok but its just me.
Sound
Here is a strong point for the game, the game has all different tunes from the old SSB and also new added themes which sound great while playing. Also the sound of the punches and kicks sounds really great if you have a Home Entertainment system. Over all no matter what you do in the game the sound is always great!
Gameplay
Here we have SSB:M strongest point, From the minute you start playing the game you will fall in love. The game has a wide range of charters from the start which are your usual Nintendo seen characters. There are also about 10 or more characters to unlock. The game has some great things to do like unlock levels, mini games and also trophy collecting. The games overall gameplay is very good, The way the levels are set and they way the charters set into the great levels is great. The game will last everyone along time, with so much to do this game is surly one to get for your Gamecube.
Multiplayer
Another strong point for the game is the Multiplayer, this game has the best multi ever! Another great reason to pick this game up is for when having parties to have some four player fun with friends! You can do such things in Multi as have a four player battle royal, head to head or even a up to 64 player tournament.
Overall
This game is the best buy you will get for your Gamecube. No Nintendo game on the Gamecube has come close to beating this game! If your looking for a good game that will keep you entertained no matter what age you have then here you have it. With so much to do and unlock this game will last anyone at least a month or over. Most definitely worth your $100.
